devastating effects of childhood incest on adult life. Candid discussion and the
presentation of artwork and poetry created while in therapy are used to help the group
members express their realm of feelings. Guilt, shame, anger, pain, and self-hatred are
expressed along with the realization that they can make conscious choices in their lives.
The therapist explains how breaking the silence and talking about the incest experience
marks the beginning of the healing process. The testimonies shared in this program will
