Fighting Back: Successful Solutions to Crime
This program examines successful solutions to the crime problem from around
the country. In New Orleans and San Diego, the courts and citizens are
working together to solve drug problems through a program of therapy and
treatment. In Chicago, the success stories of two women fighting to save
children from being caught up in crime are profiled, and a district attorney
takes kids inside the justice system in Los Angeles. The program also
examines an innovative aerobics class that teaches senior citizens how to
protect themselves. (23 minutes)
