Sealed with a Kiss: DNA Saliva Testing
When a school superintendent was charged with sending 42 obscene
letters to a disgruntled teacher at her own school, the letters were
promptly sent to a forensic laboratory for analysis. In this program, DNA
tests on residual saliva found on the stamps reveal that the sender and the
receiver are one and the same: the teacher, who was then charged with
attempting to smear the superintendent’s reputation. (24 minutes)
